Casing & Bore Pipe Services
Alpha Pipe supplies steel casing pipe from 6″ to 120″ O.D. to meet requirements for use in the following applications: Directional Drilling – Road Bore Casing – Open Cut Casing – Horizontal Casing Pipe – Vertical Casing Pipe.
Casing Pipe is typically used to encase and protect something. A typical uses for casing pipe is in underground construction to protect utility lines from damage. This steel casing pipe protects utility lines not only from the elements but from future construction activity such as digging or drilling.
We offer our steel casing and bore casing pipe in 20′ lengths and with beveled x square cut ends when required.
Also described as slant drilling is a form of drilling horizontally rather than a vertical shaft. It’s used in both the oilfield and utility industries to steer the drill bit to reach a desired point. This technique is used for installing horizontal pipelines under roads, underwater and through rock, often as a conduit for fiber optic lines, utility, and power lines. Alpha Pipe can help with all of your steel casing required for Directional Drilling projects.
Road Bore Casing / Horizontal Casing
Road Bore Casing, also know as Horizontal Casing, is used to encase and protect utility lines, cable and pipelines and to keep the shaft from collapsing while boring under roads and rivers. There are several methods of installing steel pipe casing: open cut casing- when a trench is dug and the steel pipe casing is then laid within the trench; boring- in which a boring machine is used to cut a horizontal hole into which the bore pipe casing is then installed; and HDD (horizontal directional drilling)- when a drilling system is used to create a hole and the casing pipe is then pulled or pushed through it. Alpha Pipe can help with all of your steel casing pipe needs, whether it is road bore casing, open cut casing or or horizontal directional drilling casing.
Open Cut Casing
Vertical Casing Pipe
Casing pipe is used for both oil and gas wells and water well applications and provides a steel pipe casing for the drill pipe and bit. After the drilling is completed, the steel pipe casing remains in place to allow for the tubing to be installed so the oil, case or waster can be extracted. This is also known as “conductor hole” ,“rat hole”, or “mouse hole” pipe. Alpha Pipe is your go-to steel pipe casing supplier for all of your rat hole casing needs.
